Hey Lovelies! As I mentioned in my last post, I was able to have a style session at the Topshop Norwich Student Event! Being able to walk around the store and with the help of the beaut personal stylist Martha pick out some really fab outfits. Some are very in my comfort zone and some are a little out of the box. Which I LOVE, as fashion is about expression and it’s always great to play around with different styles and trends. I hope you like the different outfits that Martha put together for me! Let me know in the comments which is your favourite :) (I have also linked all the items at the end, just in case you like it so much you wanna buy it! :)).
Look 2: Sports Luxe with a twist
Look 3: Evening Elegance
Look 4: Jumpsuit, Floppy Hat and Tote= Perfection
Look 5: A Kimono tells a thousand stories
I have to say that outfit 4 is my absolute favourite. That In Love With Fashion jumpsuit is so out there and stunning. I didn’t think I could pull it off but I felt amazing in it. Also as I mentioned in my last post, I was kindly about to make use of the 20% discount that all the lucky students were snapping up! I ended up getting the gorgeous patent sling back loafers from look 3! Like I don’t already own about a dozen black shoes/boots, oh well! One more to add to my collection. And with the discount I felt so lucky as for me Topshop shoes are a treat purchase.
Thanks again to Kaiah for inviting me to the event I had such a great time. And thanks again to Martha for styling me in some really amazing outfits, you have added lots of pieces to my ongoing wish list. If you live in Norwich and fancy some style advise, just pop into Topshop and ask to arrange a personal style session, be it you are in need of a wardrobe update, an outfit for a special occasion or just want to find some new threads, they are there to help! :) I couldn’t recommend it more I had a great time.

Hey Lovelies, I was kindly invited to the Topshop Norwich Student Event last Thursday. I felt like a faux student for the evening (oh how 3 years have gone by so quickly since I could call myself a student). The evening itself comes around once a year! There is an amazing 20% off all purchases. And to make it even more of an event Mantra a local club/bar were also there to provide a party atmosphere with some yummy mocktails and some ‘wicked tunes’ from a live DJ!
When I arrived I was able to have a one on one styling session with the mega babe Martha! This included being taken around the store to each themed section, like the Cocktail Hour, where you can find metallic playsuits, sequin crops and sleek faux fur sleeveless jackets and another which has to be my favourite the Folklore section, with feather print kimonos, floppy hats and palazzo trousers. While we visited each section Martha helped pick out an outfit for me! This to any girl is like a dream come true. Being given free rein in Topshop to style up your dream outfits. As the pile of clothes got heavier we then went to the styling room which is located just off the main changing rooms. I had my own changing room located in a larger room with funky bamboo wallpaper and a huge ceiling to floor mirror. After dumping the massive pile of clothes we strutted off to the shoes! THE SHOES!!! I LOVE Topshop shoes. They are a real treat for me. And did Martha pick some goodun’s. Yes she did. Then began over an hours worth of styling up these outfits and getting some fab snaps to show your guys. (I will be posting each outfit during the week otherwise this post would be very photo heavy). I had the most amazing time, there was no rush to get the outfits tried on, and Martha was very accommodating to my own style tastes when choosing the outfits. After this I had a venture around the store to get some snaps of the other things happening. I stumbled upon makeovers involving Topshop’s new range THE FACE. A gorgeous set of beauty products which are for a more natural look. I wasn’t able to blah any samples but I did get a booklet which details each product. Martha also told me that the people behind Mac Cosmetics have a hand in the making of them, so you know they are gonna be good.
I had the most amazing time, I was even allowed to use the 20% discount, which I thought was really sweet of them (thanks Kaiah) so I got a gorgeous pair of shoes :) They have already cropped up on my Instagram! Thanks again to Martha too for picking some fab outfits, and for picking the gorgeous shoes I ended up buying! I LOVE THEM! So if you live in Norwich and need some outfit inspo or just advise on maybe updating your wardrobe ask to have a style session with Martha or any of the other girls there, you will be so pleased with the time they take to find things that you may miss and end up falling for. Also if you are a student remember to keep a look our for future discount days (more than the 10% already) and for next years Student Event. You can follow Topshop Norwich on Instagram >here< for any amazing hidden gems they find and also like always you can follow me too for any finds that I make. As you guys know I do love a Topshop find be it full price or in the sale!
Hey Lovelies, as promised, here is the contents of my Blogger Programme goody bag! What a great amount of fab products to try! And another thing thats fab about this goody bag is that its the new Blogger Programme logo design! Some of us hunted through the pile of bags to get them! :)
I can’t wait to scoff the Gnaw Rocky Road bar! I love these!! And how lucky am I that its the Rocky Road one! My fave! I was so surprised by the Love Label eyeshadow palette, some really great earthy colours, will be doing a post on them sometimes soon, I’ve already swatted them and they look really nice! Also quite intrigued by Earthnicity mineral makeup, I’ve tried mineral makeup before, will be good to see how this compares.
Some really beautiful jewellery additions to this goody bag, the pentagram necklace from The Treasure Box is too cute! And I’m a fan of Lisa Angel anyway, and this silver star bracelet is so delicate and stunning :)
I really love nosing through goody bags, its a great way to discover new brands, and maybe try something that you might not have thought about before. There was a business card from God It Feels So Good, I had a look on Instagram to find the cutest girliest Kawaii phone cases, which I saw other some other bloggers had in there goody bags. Will definitely be looking in that more, so so cute.
Hey Lovelies, On Thursday I attended The Blogger Programme Summer Party. It was so nice to go to an event in Norwich (where I live, well 10 ish miles away). The event was held in the event space at The Birdcage.
My first event with actual brands there to chat too! I was a little nervous, but I met Charrlotte who is such a sweetie and we stuck together for the evening. (Click on her name to go to her Youtube). I also met up with Claire who I haven’t seen since the East Anglia meet up so it was really nice to catch up!
Things to look at: A stunning selection of clothing, I adored everything from Love Clothing, all of the white items pictured above! Especially the white lace items! Gorgeous! Also a stunning petrol blue thin pleated maxi dress from Tonic, definitely a stand out piece! Lush Norwich we also there with a selection of goodies, the room smelt amazing, I normally find Lush quite overpowering, I know how very un-blogger of me, but they had just the right amount to not suffocate me! haha!
Flamingo Amy was also there with her retro hair styling. What that girl can do with some backcombing and come bobby pins! Wow!
Food: Charrlotte and I were waiting for someone to make a move on the very yummy selection of cupcakes on offer, the icing was amazing! And the cute sugar paper Blogger Programme logo was super cute. Grosvenor Fish Bar also provided some mini fish n chips, which I didn’t actually get a photo of but I did try a chip and it was yummy!
I got my photo taken too, with Charrlotte as we were both a little unsure of posing in front of a room of people! I personally wasn’t overly confident as we all know I normally take my outfit photos solo in my drive! Haha! (I will post them when they are put online). It was so nice to meet some of my favourite bloggers too. I got to say ‘Hey’ to Melon and had a chat with both Leanne + Carly. Such lovely ladies!
Was great to be able to connect with brands too, like Love Clothing + Blakely Clothing. So great to talk to Victoria from Love Clothing, so approachable and was just happy to chat with me, and Gareth the owner/creator/muscles behind Blakely! Fingers crossed that maybe in the future some collabs can happen! I was very proud of myself for actually bigging up my blog, as I know it’s not the biggest but I love it and am very proud of how its made me more confident in myself. :) Good vibes! Yeah!!
And…. I got to hand out a few of my new blog business cards! I felt all profesh!!
I had the best evening, and I look forward to the main Summer Party that is hopefully gonna happen in September!! Ooo how could I forget, got myself a jam-packed goodie bag! Will post that up tomorrow!
Yay, happy blogger vibes! :)
I have found my new favourite shop! Yay!! A cute shop full of cute flowers, cute pillows and lots of cuteness…. Yes Jenny, I think they get it, its CUTE! Berry’s and Grey is to me a newly found shop located within the Royale Arcade in Norwich! They sell all kinds of lovely homeware bits! There’s no real divide between the upstairs and down, but upstairs does have more cushions and soft furnishings. And scattered everywhere gorgeous faux flowers! Something that I have fallen head over heals for. I’m useless at keeping plants alive, or to be honest just too lazy when it comes to buying more, which is why I’m constantly on the look out for faux flowers! They also have some beautiful faux fur throws, which I was tempted by, as I’m slowly updating parts of my room to make it more me, and closer to the image I have in my head for my dream bedroom!
I picked up this glass jar, it was £4.99, which I thought was a really great price for something that you could easily pay more for in other shops. The fact that the straw is pink may have had an effect. I also found a selection of trunks, that would be perfect for putting my overflow of shoes in, I’ve been looking for ages, but never found anything ‘timeless’ or a style/pattern I wouldn’t hate within a month, and there are some beauties, I did forget to photograph them, but I will be doing a room update soon where I can add that to my ongoing list of bits I want for my room!!
I can’t wait for the next time I go into Norwich, as I will definitely be popping by Berry’s and Grey to have another look around. If you want to have a look at their stuff and you don’t live near one of their stores, either Norwich or Polzeath , I’d suggest having a browse on their website »www.berrysandgrey.co.uk« As they deliver too! Which is great news for me, as I don’t really fancy lugging around a gigantic trunk!
So the other day (Weds) I went to see Katy Perry at The O2 in London! I have always wanted to see her perform live, and when this tour was announced I knew I had to get tickets! I’ve watched The California Dreams Movie enough times now!! I had the most amazing time! I went with my Mum and we had a blast! Even though we couldn’t sit next to each other, though we did have seats one in front of the other, I know the Mama enjoyed herself too, she’s had Dark Horse stuck in her head for days!! The whole production was incredible, she really does put on quite a show. From the various costumes like the floaty butterfly inspired dress with pastel hair to the pink leopard cat suit with ears, everything that was there fitted in perfectly, no fillers or out of place props and all that! I really loved the acoustic part where armed with a guitar, a piano and 2 backing singers Katy belted out tunes like ‘Unconditionally’, ‘ The One That Got Away’ and for me a very heartbreaking rendition of the song ‘By The Grace of God’, it really did provide that proof to anyone who thinks she can’t sing live, that she really can! The 1-2 min interlude sections that enabled for costume changes and a change in theme were incredible, short VT’s on the pyramid screen were really well done, I have posted a clip of a fraction of one over on my instagram »here«. There was even a cat themed section!!!!!! I LOVE CATS!!!!
I don’t really know what else to say! I was so amazed by the whole show, as I have never been to a ‘pop’ concert in quite a long time, and I’m talking The Spice Girls + Steps!!! (The first time, non of this reunion stuff)! If you ever get the chance to see Katy Perry, take it! You will not be disappointed, its such a great night!
