Hey Lovelies, I have been growing my hair for so long now, with the aim of having dreamy mermaid hair. Well the dream is over, my hair was a great length but was all tatty and a mess to be honest, I tried my best to make it look nice. But in the end it was just hanging there not doing a lot. I decided to go and get it refreshed. I used to go to Toni & Guy all the time, so I thought it would be best to go there again. I knew I didn’t want to go crazy short, but to me the length I now have it it of course so much shorter than before. And my hair feels so much better for it. I showed Josh my hairdresser a selection of hair inspo photos and he really listened to what I wanted and what my hair is like. The blunt cut is so clean and neat, it has really given my hair a new lease of life. I am now debating getting my dip dye redone or just going for a whole new colour. But that will have to wait till after my holiday. Josh used Label M Sea Salt spray to give it some choppy texture after straightening it. Luckily I have some Label M products already so I can recreate the look myself.
Have any of you ever gone for a hair cut and been truly happy with the result like me? Isn’t it the greatest.
FYI this is the last post for a week anyway that is not scheduled. I will be off on my holiday to Tenerife. I have some posts scheduled for you, and I will be updating my Instagram throughout the week anyway :)
Leather Jacket, Topshop | Faux Fur Collar Topshop | Joni Jeans, Topshop | Pastel Fluffy Crop, Primark | Clutch Bag, Religion from TKMaxx | Heels, New Look
Hey Lovelies, It’s officially the start of my holidays! Yay! This week has been a long one, and very busy! With the colder weather it means people want coffee… and lots of it! Hello ridiculous never-ending queues! But I’m putting that behind me as I’ve got packing and outfit organising to do this weekend! Today’s look however is sticking to the weather we have right now! Up and down and chilly. I have been wearing my faux fur collar from Topshop with nearly everything lately, it adds some really fun textures to an outfit and it’s just so comfy and soft. I am a lover of all black outfits, but I thought I’d throw on my cute pastel purple fluffy crop to add a softness to the look. I recently found this clutch that I found in TKMaxx, it truly was an amazing find, a knuckle duster on as the handle?! If that’s what it’s called. The skeleton is rocking a crown and it’s just all sorts of cool. My black skin-tight Joni jeans are my go to trousers at the moment, they are super high-waisted and I just bloomin’ love them! I found these heels from New Look hidden in my shoe chest, I have nice memories of these shoes as I wore them to my graduation! How very brave of me, as they are, now anyway really high! haha! I’m not used to wearing heels at all!
Oversized White Tartan Coat, Love Clothing* | Tartan Dress, Primark | Heels, New Look | Earring, Topshop
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is as you can see all about tartan. I fell in love with tartan last year and I think its safe to say its slowly creeping back. Yay! As you guys know I write as a weekly contributor for Love Clothing’s blog, as appreciation for the posts I’ve been writing they sent me an item of my choice from the site. I was so overwhelmed by this, as I just love writing about fashion and trends for the blog and never expected anything like this to happen from it. This coat however, is stunning. I love the oversized trend that’s been everywhere at the moment. It’s so 60’s! I loved the monochrome vibe to this coat, as we all know I’ve been loving black grey and white lately. I paired it with my red tartan dress from Primark, as I love how the bright red and monochrome bounce off each other. I kept my shoes simple with some chunky heels from New Look.
Hope you are having a good week so far! It’s the final of Great British Bake Off tonight! I want Richard to win! But who knows what will happen! I have another look with this beaut coat coming soon, its more casual! So keep an eye out for that. Also I’m going on holiday next week so will be scheduling posts for when I’m away! Expect some beauty posts which I haven’t done in ages!
Hey Lovelies! As I mentioned in my last post, I was able to have a style session at the Topshop Norwich Student Event! Being able to walk around the store and with the help of the beaut personal stylist Martha pick out some really fab outfits. Some are very in my comfort zone and some are a little out of the box. Which I LOVE, as fashion is about expression and it’s always great to play around with different styles and trends. I hope you like the different outfits that Martha put together for me! Let me know in the comments which is your favourite :) (I have also linked all the items at the end, just in case you like it so much you wanna buy it! :)).
Look 1: Gold Glam, Leather and Pink
Look 2: Sports Luxe with a twist
Look 3: Evening Elegance
Look 4: Jumpsuit, Floppy Hat and Tote= Perfection
Look 5: A Kimono tells a thousand stories
I have to say that outfit 4 is my absolute favourite. That In Love With Fashion jumpsuit is so out there and stunning. I didn’t think I could pull it off but I felt amazing in it. Also as I mentioned in my last post, I was kindly about to make use of the 20% discount that all the lucky students were snapping up! I ended up getting the gorgeous patent sling back loafers from look 3! Like I don’t already own about a dozen black shoes/boots, oh well! One more to add to my collection. And with the discount I felt so lucky as for me Topshop shoes are a treat purchase.
Thanks again to Kaiah for inviting me to the event I had such a great time. And thanks again to Martha for styling me in some really amazing outfits, you have added lots of pieces to my ongoing wish list. If you live in Norwich and fancy some style advise, just pop into Topshop and ask to arrange a personal style session, be it you are in need of a wardrobe update, an outfit for a special occasion or just want to find some new threads, they are there to help! :) I couldn’t recommend it more I had a great time.

Look 2: Faux Fur | Shirt | Bralet | Skirt | Shoes
Look 3: Coat | Dress | Necklace | Watch | Shoes | Boots
Look 4: Leather Jacket | Jumpsuit | Heels | Hat | Bag
Look 5: Kimono | Jumpsuit | Hat | Watch | Boots
Hey Lovelies, I was kindly invited to the Topshop Norwich Student Event last Thursday. I felt like a faux student for the evening (oh how 3 years have gone by so quickly since I could call myself a student). The evening itself comes around once a year! There is an amazing 20% off all purchases. And to make it even more of an event Mantra a local club/bar were also there to provide a party atmosphere with some yummy mocktails and some ‘wicked tunes’ from a live DJ!
When I arrived I was able to have a one on one styling session with the mega babe Martha! This included being taken around the store to each themed section, like the Cocktail Hour, where you can find metallic playsuits, sequin crops and sleek faux fur sleeveless jackets and another which has to be my favourite the Folklore section, with feather print kimonos, floppy hats and palazzo trousers. While we visited each section Martha helped pick out an outfit for me! This to any girl is like a dream come true. Being given free rein in Topshop to style up your dream outfits. As the pile of clothes got heavier we then went to the styling room which is located just off the main changing rooms. I had my own changing room located in a larger room with funky bamboo wallpaper and a huge ceiling to floor mirror. After dumping the massive pile of clothes we strutted off to the shoes! THE SHOES!!! I LOVE Topshop shoes. They are a real treat for me. And did Martha pick some goodun’s. Yes she did. Then began over an hours worth of styling up these outfits and getting some fab snaps to show your guys. (I will be posting each outfit during the week otherwise this post would be very photo heavy). I had the most amazing time, there was no rush to get the outfits tried on, and Martha was very accommodating to my own style tastes when choosing the outfits. After this I had a venture around the store to get some snaps of the other things happening. I stumbled upon makeovers involving Topshop’s new range THE FACE. A gorgeous set of beauty products which are for a more natural look. I wasn’t able to blah any samples but I did get a booklet which details each product. Martha also told me that the people behind Mac Cosmetics have a hand in the making of them, so you know they are gonna be good.
I had the most amazing time, I was even allowed to use the 20% discount, which I thought was really sweet of them (thanks Kaiah) so I got a gorgeous pair of shoes :) They have already cropped up on my Instagram! Thanks again to Martha too for picking some fab outfits, and for picking the gorgeous shoes I ended up buying! I LOVE THEM! So if you live in Norwich and need some outfit inspo or just advise on maybe updating your wardrobe ask to have a style session with Martha or any of the other girls there, you will be so pleased with the time they take to find things that you may miss and end up falling for. Also if you are a student remember to keep a look our for future discount days (more than the 10% already) and for next years Student Event. You can follow Topshop Norwich on Instagram >here< for any amazing hidden gems they find and also like always you can follow me too for any finds that I make. As you guys know I do love a Topshop find be it full price or in the sale!
Jacket, Topshop | Shirt, H&M | Bag, H&M | Jeans, Primark | Boots, New Look | Necklace, Miss Selfridge
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is all about the shirt! Sometimes its just about throwing on a baggy shirt and some skinny jeans. This is the shirt that encompasses that. H&M are so on point at the moment, so I’ve been spending a lot of time and money in there to help revamp my wardrobe. A rare new purchase that isn’t black/ white or grey. I love that this shirt can be worn in different ways, I’m thinking that it will look great tied around my waist over a skirt for a laid back vibe. I didn’t want to layer up too many accessories/ jewellery so I went for a couple of rings and a chunky necklace which is from Miss Selfridge! Again my New Look boots make an appearance. I do really need to get another pair or heeled boots for some variety!
Anyway, hope you are all having a good week! We made it to Wednesday, which for some will mean watching Great British Bake Off!! Ooo the drama!!
Faux Fur Collar, Topshop | Yellow Boxy Top, New Look | White Shirt, H&M | Ripped Jeans, Topshop | Loafers, Bank Fashion | Bag, H&M
Hey lovelies, just a quick post today! I wore this outfit at the weekend (minus the faux fur as that was purchased while I was out). I met up with my bestie for a good old catch up and some lunch. I took inspiration from an ASOS FF feature about dressing for bunch, which I have linked >here< I am trying to start layering up my clothes more for more texture and dimensions, and I really love how laid back and cool this outfit is. I knew I’d be walking around a lot so I opted for some loafer style black studded shoes from Bank, they are really smart-looking but also really comfy too. My ripped jeans are becoming a wardrobe staple of mine! This yellow boxy top from New Look has a kinda scuba type feel to it, and works really well with this crisp white skirt underneath. I picked up this faux fur scarf? If thats what you would call it from Topshop, it’s so soft and I am just loving anything faux fur at the moment. So expect to see more of this over the colder months. For £28, I didn’t mind paying that much for a really top notch item. After my wardrobe overhaul I needed to insert some more grown up pieces.
I felt comfy yet casual in this outfit and I actually braved having my hair up! Which I normally only ever do for work! I hope you guys like this outfit, I felt so good in it, which I think it the best thing really when you feel truly happy about a complete outfit. You wouldn’t change anything! Now isn’t that a rarity?!
