Halloween Styling

halloween

Hey Lovelies, I’m backkk!!! To gently get back into blogging after being away in the beautiful Tenerife (gathering all my photos for a post that will be on here soon) :) I thought I would indulge in a little wish list/style up post, there are quite a few picks today! I thought it would be wrong to let this dark and spooky time of year slip on by! HALLOWEEN! I haven’t got plans this year, like most years I’ll probably be in, wrapped up on the sofa watching a non scary film (I’m a scaredy cat) in my giraffe onesie. But that doesn’t mean I can’t drool over the gorgeous Halloween inspired pieces that are all about at the moment. Which by the way can easily be styled for Christmas/AW too :) Win win!

ASOS Little Mistress Navy Sweetheart Dress
I love the sweetheart neckline on this dress, also the navy colour is not something you would usually see on Halloween. Pair with some black accessories for a modern take on the Halloween night out outfit.

ASOS Pointed Bow Heels
Bows. Is there really much else to say about these shoes. Okay, so yes there is a bit more to say, how freaking cute are these. Taking a classic shoe and adding a simple black bow at the ankle! Genius!

ASOS Green Beaded Clutch
I really like this emerald-green beaded clutch, pair this with a simple all black outfit as a stand out piece.

TOPSHOP Sequin Panel Pleated Dress
Now, this Topshop dress has been on my wish list for ages, well, the wish list in my head that is! It’s stunning I love the different textures and lengths, this could be a possibility for a work Xmas meal outfit at this rate! I LOVE IT!

ASOS Halloween Embellished Choker Necklace
Talk about gothic chic. This is an extremely beautiful and intricate piece of jewellery, reminds me of the costumes in Underworld! Sophia Myles wore some stunning pieces.

TOPSHOP Webbed Tights
Something a little fun! I am always on the look out for quirky tights to wear to work to snazzy up the uniform, these web tights are perfect for Halloween!

TOPSHOP Red Plunge Jumpsuit
I don’t usually gravitate towards red, but this jumpsuit is so elegant and definitely means business, I’d layer this with a mess top underneath and some black high heels for a vampy evening look.

ASOS Halloween Gothic Rose and Lace Headband
This headband is AMAZING! Gothic vibes all around. This really is a ‘wish’ piece as I wouldn’t know where to start with styling it on myself! Definitely something to look into in the future.

TOPSHOP Halloween Scrunchie
Another fun item from Topshop, I love scrunchies and this Halloween themed one is too cute. Especially when you have to wear your hair up for work this is a nice and simple way to incorporate some of the Halloween spirit into your everyday look.

NEW LOOK Mesh Baroque Tee
This tee is fab for layering, using under a dress or jumpsuit or over a bright crop will revamp any piece of clothing in your wardrobe with a gothic twist.

NEW LOOK Black Lace Sleeve Crop
I LOVE this black lace sleeved crop, I can easily see Wednesday Addams wearing this. This would go really nice with a burgundy miniskirt and Docs.

NEW LOOK Pure Colour Burgundy Lipstick
I can’t wait to go into my local New Look and pick up some of their new beauty range. This deep burgundy red is perfect for A/W and for creating sultry vampy make up to complement a gothic look. It would also look great with very natural make up for a stamens pop of colour.

NEW LOOK Black Faux Fur Trim Heels
These fluffy heels are everywhere, I know lots of other places do them, but New Look are my fave high street store for shoes! They are adorable, with fluff adds a cuteness to them and ultra girly vibes. With pay-day looming they might be making a new home for themselves with me very soon.

I hope you like my Halloween inspired picks, if you like them they are all linked above :) Feels good to be blogging again, I am currently settling back into things. I know I was only gone for round about 2 weeks, but you can’t rush things when coming back otherwise it would feel like a waste of a really lovely holiday and time away. And I am in no rush to let go of the holiday vibes! :)

5Pug Tee, Bank Fashion | Embellished Shorts, Topshop | Boots, Dr Martens | Bag, River Island | Watch, Michael Kors | Love Choker, ASOS | Hat, H&M

Hey Lovelies, I think you can guess the focal point of this outfit!! To say that I have a thing for pugs is a bit of an understatement! I adore them! This top is so funny too, with the slogan NOTORIOUS P.U.G! I’ve had my eye on  this tee for quite a while and I finally purchased it the other day! It’s just so fun and slouchy. I may even wear it as a pj tee from time to time. I thought I’d go for a more casual grunge look with my black distressed and embellished Topshop shorts. Of course the only choice in footwear was my Docs! They will be a  A/W staple for sure.

Now to talk about my new bag from River Island! I am a girl who only ever has black bags, but this one stood out amongst the rest, my friend Lauren saw it in a beige colour first of all while we were browsing the bags. I talked myself out of buying quite a few but I went back later on a snapped up this beaut. The contrasting black strap and tassel is a really nice touch. It’s just something a little different for me!

Would you wear your fave animal on a tee? Also I’d love to know what you think of this outfit as a whole!

Caffe Nero Style Challenge- Monochrome

style challenge

Hey Lovelies, it’s about time I shared with you what I’ve been up to with Caffe Nero! I’ve been challenged to style up their iconic tee. I was so excited when they contacted me (thanks again Michael!)
I’m quite used to styling up statement tee’s as I seem to own quite a few. I thought I’d split this style challenge into 2! Which means even more looks to show you guys. This first part is ‘Monochrome’.

LOOK 1

0All black! As the t-shirt is quite baggy, I decided to tie it at the side for a casual cropped look. I paired it with my Topshop high-waisted sheer skirt. The sheer panels are split into 4 and it has such a floaty boho feel. I added just a splash of colour with my denim Vans. I think it works really well with the bold white soles. This outfit would be perfect for going out shopping or lunch with a friend as its smart but not too smart with the boho vibe of the skirt!

LOOK 2

I’ve mentioned these SpyLoveBuy shoes quite a bit on my social media! I just ADORE them so much!!! I again kept the t-shirt tied into a crop, I added a statement block white body con skirt for a really polished look. And due to the weather being so blooming fab I threw on my sleeveless In Love With Fashion dogtooth jacket an amazing sale find from their section in my local Topshop. It’s really light and added another dimension to the look. I think out of the 3 monochrome outfits this is my favourite.

LOOK 3

You can’t go wrong with a pair of rolled up Mom Jeans, these are from Topshop! A very tomboy look, I layered a white strappy top under the Caffe Nero tee for a 90’s vibe. For even more of a casual vibe I wore my black sandals again from Topshop. Yep I buy ALOT of clothes from Topshop! The look I was going for was ‘effortlessly cool’! Not sure if I succeeded but I LOVE it, I’m all about being comfortable with my outfits and this is a very chilled out outfit that is so easy to create. Statement tee, denim + sandals! DONE!

I really hope you have liked these 3 monochrome looks that I have created with Caffe Nero! Sometimes all you need is a statement tee to bring a whole outfit together! I’m now gonna get working on part 2 which will be full of colour!

See ya,

#CELFIE Oversized tee, BANKfashion | Embellished Leather Jacket, Topshop | Demin Shorts, Republic | Pink Choker, Miss Selfridge | Pool Sliders, Topshop | Quilted Bag, ASOS

Hey Lovelies,

My favourite of the 3 different ways I have styled up this fab slogan tee from BANKfashion! It just screams FESTIVAL!!! I think a slogan tee and a leather jacket are a match made in heaven, this embellished cross leather jacket is at the very top of my best buys ever as… you guessed it I got it in the sale!! I’ve had it a few years now and it fits perfectly, and goes with pretty much anything.

I must apologise for my pale legs, by the time I did these photos my gorgeous Cocoa Brown Tan is no longer visible! This outfit would look fab with bronzed legs unlike my pasty ones! Haha! I’ve had these denim shorts for ages, but always claimed them to be too short! But having seen some recent snaps of denim shorts with sliders I thought ‘I have the perfect pair’! I love the cross and zip details, makes them stand out a little bit more.

Now, these pool sliders. Wow, I tried them on, on a recent visit to Topshop and they were so comfy. I featured them in a recent WISHLIST post and I actually ended up buying them. Best buy for the summer by far, I went back into my Topshop the other day and walked past the shoe section and thought I’d show my friend them, but there were none left! They were a popular choice or it’s just that my Topshop doesn’t stock lots! I’m gonna go with that second statement! hehe!

Like any girl, I do love the look of a choker necklace, just adding a little grunge to your outfit, but I found this beautiful pink flower one in Miss Selfridge for only £5! They also do it in white for a truly 90’s vibe!

By keeping the oversized #celfie tee untucked creates a casual care free look, which is perfect for this festively outfit.

If you haven’t seen my 1st outfit you can find it »here«.

I hope you have liked this 2nd look, be back tomorrow for the final look! I’d love to know what you guys think so far?! And also whether you’d like to see more of these type of posts, would you prefer them to be all in one post? Or do you like them as a series?!

See ya,

Dress, ASOS | Jacket, Matalan | Socks, Primark | Jelly Shoes, New Look | Floral Headband, Topshop | Bracelets, Forever 21

Hey Lovelies,

Sometimes the only way to style something pastel is to add even more pastel! This is such a super girl look for me and you know what, I really like it! This multi pastel coloured dress from ASOS is so pretty and floaty. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! It’s gonna be perfect for those summery days. This green textured jacket from Matalan is not my usual style in jacket. I brought it last year to wear with a cream dress for a naming ceremony, I’ve been trying to find something else to style it with!

Of course I couldn’t leave my jellies tucked away now could I! They are so cute with some frilly ankle socks like these pink ones. Hope you have all had a lovely Easter Weekend a into those of you who did have the glorious 4 days off, I hope you enjoyed them!

7Oversized Coat, BANKfashion | Black Velvet Crop, Primark | High Waisted Trousers, River Island | Boots, New Look | Necklace, Topshop | Quilted Bucket Bag, ASOS

Earrings, Topshop | Rings, Topshop + River Island

Hey Lovelies,

Being in London I thought it was only right to get some snazzy outfit photos :) yay to not being in my drive! haha! These were taken in the garden/courtyard area in the V&A Museum, it’s so pretty there.

I am having a trouser moment! I just love patterned trousers that are high-waisted with crop tops! I think I’ve finally found a style that suits me.  And for me I feel comfortable in. These red and black trousers are from River Island, I got them in the sale for £20 which for River Island is pretty darn good! The belt is included, it may be a simple black belt with a gold buckle but sometimes that’s all you need.

Most of my crop tops have thin straps and I wasn’t too sure on what the weather was gonna be like, so I opted for my long-sleeved velvet one from Primark. I goes with everything, and I can’t get enough of velvet anyway so its all good!!

Taking inspiration from the ‘accessorizing’ theme to everyone’s Coachella outfits I chucked on my chunky Topshop necklace for some instant neck bling and some midi rings.

These black boots are super comfy and give that little extra height that I like in a boot. Knowing I was gonna be walking around quite a bit these seemed like a good option, they also don’t make the bottom of the trousers look all lumpy which I absolutely hate. Also the friend I was meeting is really tall so I did need to have some extra height otherwise I’d look like a hobbit!!

Again with the clashing of patterns my new ‘Spring’ coat is out again and complimenting the pattern of the trousers really well.

I hope you like this outfit, would you have worn any of the pieces differently? I’d love to hear in the comments :)
