Hey Lovelies, quite a fun causal look today. I am obsessed with layering at the moment, and this white shirt bright top combo is a must have look! I’m not really one thats goes for lots of colour but this outfit is pretty pop tastic! I think the trousers from New Look made this outfit go from bland to amazing! And… they go perfectly with my Nike Trainers. I got these a few years ago from Office, and I must admit that I don’t wear them that often, I really should! They are really comfy.
What do you think of this outfit? I hope you like it! It would be lovely if you could leave a lil comment if you do, will be something nice to see when I come back from my holiday! Which will be tomorrow! (Which is weird to say as I’m writing this I haven’t even left!)
Hey Lovelies, quite a causal look today. This Love Clothing Coat is so versatile, its so snuggly warm and goes perfectly with some cosy knitwear. This black and orange knit from H&M pops from underneath the oversized coat. I kept the look simple with some blue jeans from Primark, my fave jeans from there. They fit perfectly and don’t look the tightness. Another outing for my new shoes from Topshop, aren’t they the prettiest?! I dug out this back pack from Accessorize as its so big it can hold lots of my rubbish in it, as all my bags have the key things in plus every lipstick I own and a thousand receipts!! And as you can see, this outfit (and the rest this week) as pre hair cut! I will be snapping my holiday looks most probably as this post goes out! :)
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is all about the shirt! Sometimes its just about throwing on a baggy shirt and some skinny jeans. This is the shirt that encompasses that. H&M are so on point at the moment, so I’ve been spending a lot of time and money in there to help revamp my wardrobe. A rare new purchase that isn’t black/ white or grey. I love that this shirt can be worn in different ways, I’m thinking that it will look great tied around my waist over a skirt for a laid back vibe. I didn’t want to layer up too many accessories/ jewellery so I went for a couple of rings and a chunky necklace which is from Miss Selfridge! Again my New Look boots make an appearance. I do really need to get another pair or heeled boots for some variety!
Anyway, hope you are all having a good week! We made it to Wednesday, which for some will mean watching Great British Bake Off!! Ooo the drama!!
Hey lovelies, just a quick post today! I wore this outfit at the weekend (minus the faux fur as that was purchased while I was out). I met up with my bestie for a good old catch up and some lunch. I took inspiration from an ASOS FF feature about dressing for bunch, which I have linked >here< I am trying to start layering up my clothes more for more texture and dimensions, and I really love how laid back and cool this outfit is. I knew I’d be walking around a lot so I opted for some loafer style black studded shoes from Bank, they are really smart-looking but also really comfy too. My ripped jeans are becoming a wardrobe staple of mine! This yellow boxy top from New Look has a kinda scuba type feel to it, and works really well with this crisp white skirt underneath. I picked up this faux fur scarf? If thats what you would call it from Topshop, it’s so soft and I am just loving anything faux fur at the moment. So expect to see more of this over the colder months. For £28, I didn’t mind paying that much for a really top notch item. After my wardrobe overhaul I needed to insert some more grown up pieces.
I felt comfy yet casual in this outfit and I actually braved having my hair up! Which I normally only ever do for work! I hope you guys like this outfit, I felt so good in it, which I think it the best thing really when you feel truly happy about a complete outfit. You wouldn’t change anything! Now isn’t that a rarity?!
Hey Lovelies, Monday again. Let’s start the week off right! Positive vibes and all. This weekend I had a friend visiting so I was able to see Norwich, the city where I live (well 20 mins away) as a tourist. We explored some of the top tourist spots, Norwich Castle, Plantation Gardens and Norwich Cathedral, which was also the location of this outfit shoot. As you guys know I shoot my looks in my drive on a tripod with a remote. It is so nice to be in a different location for them and have someone else take the photos. Thanks Iain :) x
Monochrome for Autumn is pretty much unheard of right? Hehe! For walking around the city I needed style and comfort, these New Look black smart joggers are perfect for that. As this outfit is mostly black I chose different textured pieces, the crop (also New Look) is an off white and has a ribbed effect with a high neck perfect for layering jewellery over. The stand out piece of clothing in this look is my fluffy jacket from H&M. I think it might be a cardigan but I wore it like a jacket as its so snuggly and a little oversized which is perfect for when it gets a little chilly! Another outfitting for my booties, I have an unhealthy obsession with them. To complete my city outing look I added my trusty fedora, another H&M purchase that I am so glad I did.
I love the backdrop of these photos, I really do need to get out more and find new locations.
Varsity Tee, Fenchurch via BANKfashion | Leather Jacket, Topshop | Jeggings, Topshop | Boots, Topshop | Bag, River Island | Fedora, H&M
Hey lovelies, this is just a casual outfit post of what I wore out on Saturday into Norwich with the Mama. We both had a very pampering day, we finally got around to redeeming our complimentary treatments (mine being a facial at Clarins in John Lewis and Mum’s being a massage at Declor in John Lewis) which I got in my Norwich Fashion Week goody bag!! I have a post planned all about my facial treatment, it was my first ever facial and wow, I will definitely be going back for more.
I have a bit of a thing for varsity style tops at the moment, it might be because I have recently discovered the Fenchurch section in Bank. It’s just so fresh and cool looking. This ‘SPRINGBREAK’ floral tee is slightly oversized, which is why I tucked half of it into my jeggings for a care free look. A safe bet for me are these Topshop jeggings, are they still called jeggings? I don’t even know. They are super fitted and I like the way they look turned up at the bottom.
Because I was getting facial I thought it would be best to hide my no make up face from the people of Norwich and hide away under my new fave item, my fedora hat from H&M. I also went a bit crazy with my nail art. I am loving the whole mix and match nails. I take my inspiration from @thisisvenice on Instagram. Of course her nail creations are a lot more detailed than mine. But if I am ever in Paris I would love to have her do my nails.
Cream Chunky Knit, New Look | Leopard Peplum, New Look | Leggings, Primark | Ankle Bracelets, Primark | Chain Bracelet, Topshop |
Leopard Flats, New Look | Neon Trim Bag, Forever 21 | Love Choker, ASOS
More of a casual outfit today, this is normally the type of outfit I would wear to the pub or if we are going out to grab a bite to eat. Something comfy. And apparently mostly items from New Look!
Not gonna lie I do like a bit of animal print! In moderation I think it looks so so good! I thought I’d keep it simple with my leopard print peplum, I really just love saying the word peplum…PEPLUM… yep I’m done with that now!
Standard wardrobe basics, black leggings, go with everything and super comfy. It’s not exactly roasting outside so I decided to add my chunky knit, it also looks nice tied around the waist.
Now that the weather is brightening up slightly, you will probably be seeing lots of my leopard flats, I really should get a new updated version as they are looking a bit tatty now but I just love them, and for flats they didn’t rub at all when I first brought them, most flats I buy take time to break them in. These beauties, pain-free! Win win!
While I’m writing this I am just editing my last photos from Norwich Fashion Week! I can’t wait for you guys to see some of the amazing talent from the Designers show! Unbelievable!
I have also created a Facebook page for my blog, if you wanna give it a like that would be amazing! It can be found here >>> fashionfromafield-FACEBOOK
