Hey Lovelies, quite a fun causal look today. I am obsessed with layering at the moment, and this white shirt bright top combo is a must have look! I’m not really one thats goes for lots of colour but this outfit is pretty pop tastic! I think the trousers from New Look made this outfit go from bland to amazing! And… they go perfectly with my Nike Trainers. I got these a few years ago from Office, and I must admit that I don’t wear them that often, I really should! They are really comfy.
What do you think of this outfit? I hope you like it! It would be lovely if you could leave a lil comment if you do, will be something nice to see when I come back from my holiday! Which will be tomorrow! (Which is weird to say as I’m writing this I haven’t even left!)
Hey Lovelies, It’s officially the start of my holidays! Yay! This week has been a long one, and very busy! With the colder weather it means people want coffee… and lots of it! Hello ridiculous never-ending queues! But I’m putting that behind me as I’ve got packing and outfit organising to do this weekend! Today’s look however is sticking to the weather we have right now! Up and down and chilly. I have been wearing my faux fur collar from Topshop with nearly everything lately, it adds some really fun textures to an outfit and it’s just so comfy and soft. I am a lover of all black outfits, but I thought I’d throw on my cute pastel purple fluffy crop to add a softness to the look. I recently found this clutch that I found in TKMaxx, it truly was an amazing find, a knuckle duster on as the handle?! If that’s what it’s called. The skeleton is rocking a crown and it’s just all sorts of cool. My black skin-tight Joni jeans are my go to trousers at the moment, they are super high-waisted and I just bloomin’ love them! I found these heels from New Look hidden in my shoe chest, I have nice memories of these shoes as I wore them to my graduation! How very brave of me, as they are, now anyway really high! haha! I’m not used to wearing heels at all!
Hey Lovelies! As I mentioned in my last post, I was able to have a style session at the Topshop Norwich Student Event! Being able to walk around the store and with the help of the beaut personal stylist Martha pick out some really fab outfits. Some are very in my comfort zone and some are a little out of the box. Which I LOVE, as fashion is about expression and it’s always great to play around with different styles and trends. I hope you like the different outfits that Martha put together for me! Let me know in the comments which is your favourite :) (I have also linked all the items at the end, just in case you like it so much you wanna buy it! :)).
Look 2: Sports Luxe with a twist
Look 3: Evening Elegance
Look 4: Jumpsuit, Floppy Hat and Tote= Perfection
Look 5: A Kimono tells a thousand stories
I have to say that outfit 4 is my absolute favourite. That In Love With Fashion jumpsuit is so out there and stunning. I didn’t think I could pull it off but I felt amazing in it. Also as I mentioned in my last post, I was kindly about to make use of the 20% discount that all the lucky students were snapping up! I ended up getting the gorgeous patent sling back loafers from look 3! Like I don’t already own about a dozen black shoes/boots, oh well! One more to add to my collection. And with the discount I felt so lucky as for me Topshop shoes are a treat purchase.
Thanks again to Kaiah for inviting me to the event I had such a great time. And thanks again to Martha for styling me in some really amazing outfits, you have added lots of pieces to my ongoing wish list. If you live in Norwich and fancy some style advise, just pop into Topshop and ask to arrange a personal style session, be it you are in need of a wardrobe update, an outfit for a special occasion or just want to find some new threads, they are there to help! :) I couldn’t recommend it more I had a great time.

Hey Lovelies, I was recently emailed by Lalage from FuguPR about the amazing A/W collections from Dr Martens, I love my Dr Martens, I wore then in until I could barley walk! Up I was that determined to have those iconic boots on my feet! Epic shin pain!!! I also have the largest Dr Martens store in Norwich right near me! How cool is that! I always like to pop into the Norwich store to have a look at my future White Dr Martens Boots, I will one day own a pair :) to go with my Patent Black ones that I wear quite a bit, especially in the colder months. What’s really oil is that they also do clothing, be it a little on the pricey side for my pocket. But still really fab clothes. If ever I win the lottery I will purchase a few pieces, but for now I can only stare. So join me in having a nosey at some of their A/W collections.
Within the email I received there were 2 Look books which are virtual and really cool! Check out my Instagram for some video snippets. And a video of the collection which can be found >here<. #STANDFORSOMETHING
Lots of dark hues and tartan esq. pieces. I really like the tattoo print dress from the women’s collection and the tartan panel shirt from the mens. Gotta love the edgy vibes that I always think of when seeing anything Dr Martens.
*FUN FACT, 2 of the women in the collection video are from Norwich! Oo yeah! Norwich represent!!!

And…. if like me you live in/near Norwich you can always go along to the Dr Martens Store and pick up/order some of these beaut pieces, at 23-25 Castle Street, NR21PN :)
Hey Lovelies, this floral co-ord from Select is beautiful. I’ve never shopped in Select before, but there were lots of floral pieces in the window so I thought I’d have a look. I was pleasantly surprised. I love the comfiness of a co-ord and this one is like I’m wearing my pi’s, which is most definitely a good thing. Especially when you go out for lunch and have a starter, main course and pud! You need something a little slouchy. Pretty much everything in this outfit is new as of this week! Whoops! My new fedora hat is like my new favourite thing. I never suit hats but this one for some reason doesn’t look silly one me. It’s from H&M and wow, they have so many gorgeous pieces in there! My chunky sliders from Bank Fashion are another sale find, as I found out yesterday that the Norwich branch is closing down :( this makes me very very sad indeed. I know I can still shop online but there just something nice about walking into a store and actually seeing the clothes and seeing the different fabrics right there.
Oh and as you can see I ventured to a different location for this outfit shoot. I thought I’d take the opportunity of going out for lunch with the bestie to borrow her photography skills. And again she has captured everything spot on! Thanks Lauren :) (Lauren took the photos of me at London Fashion Weekend, in case you were wondering).
Have you got any new pieces recently? Would you dare wear such a match matchy co-ord?
Faux Leather Gilet, Forever 21 | Crop, Miss Selfridge | Runner Shorts, New Look | Skaters, Topshop | ‘Libra’ Necklace, Urban Outfitters | Black Rose Floral Crown, Topshop
These tropical shorts are what I’ve been waiting for all my life! Okay, maybe a little over the top! But they are the comfiest shorts I’ve ever worn! Need to get them in other patterns pronto! New Look have got some really great summer clothes in right now! Will definitely be stocking up for my October holiday! One thing I will be doing is searching for my fave bits, then being all sneaky and getting them in the end of summer sale! :) Girl gotta save some money somehow!
I thought I’d grunge up this outfit with my faux leather gilet, are they even called gilets? Have I just made up that name? Either way I like how if I changed the shoes this could easily go from day-to-night!
Have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing! I’ll be busy planning some more outfit posts. Fingers crossed for okay weather!
THE SUN IS HERE! Time to dive into the back of your wardrobe, or in my case to the shops and online to update your summer wardrobe! So seeing that the sunshine is finally here I thought I’d put together some summer looks based on the ever so cool sibling duo WILD BELLE. I have picked out some of my fave pieces from LoveClothing.com which can be injected into the styles of both Natalie + Elliot! I have to say, I found some really lovely pieces to spruce up any summer/festival wardrobe.
Perhaps I should give you the low down on WILD BELLE in case you aren’t familiar with them. They are a brother and sister from Chicago, who branched out from a previous band to create WILD BELLE. Their music is very summery + soulful. Their debut album Isles was released last year and I have had it on repeat ever since, it was an impulse purchase last year. It was one of those moments when you hear only one song and just end up buying the album. Their most recognisable track is ‘Keep You’ which can be found »here« . They both have a very laid back style which to me screams über coolness and a style that can be taken to any festival or holiday destination over the summer.
I adore Natalie’s style, always mixing and clashing patterns. Stand out pieces are a must. Look out for bright crops and patterned tee’s, and don’t be afraid to clash things up. Something that I am trying to do more of lately. The Juicy Fruit Crop would look fab against some electric blue culottes, just keep your accessories simple if you are worried it will look too much!
Floaty is a perfect partner for summer, sometimes you just want to float around all whimsical with flowers in your hair. The white Mink Pink playsuit is perfect for just that, layer with boho inspired jewellery like the long dream catcher necklace. For those chilly evenings throw on a cool Camo jacket for an added hit of grunge to your boho playsuit. No matter what your style you can always make an item work for you. It’s all about what you pair it with!
Elliot’s style is sometimes a face turner, he’s been seen in some rather snazzy shirts before. When it comes to statement shirts, I personally like the look of keeping the bottom half of the outfit simple. A black pair of jeans will do the trick, turning up the ends will add some edge to the look. When wearing all over patterned shirts go for muted colours to give off that indie cool vibe like Elliot. Purples and blues create tonnes of rich texture to merit that double take! I know that throwing on some trainers might be the easiest shoe option but think like Elliot! Go for smart shoes, I found such a vast selection of boots and shoes that it was really hard to narrow it down to just a few. My favourite has to be the Paolo Vandini Pavel Cuban buckle boots, talk about ‘smooth’. Just look at them, if they made a women’s version I would totally buy those bad boys!! haha!
For us girls think floaty and free, for the guys go smart! WILD BELLE really are a fab duo both musically + in style! They compliment each other so well. I had a blast searching for pieces on LoveClothing.com, again proving that no matter what shop you can find something that suits your style. Don’t get pigeon holed into one shop thinking they are the only ones that make your style clothing. Have a look around and you can find some extra key pieces, I am so tempted with that Kitten tee crop! So cute!
