Hey Lovelies, another day another fab New Look mini skirt. Very mod and very 60’s! I think mini skirts are going to be another A/W staple for me. They go with pretty much anything and can be worn with chunky knits and tights. I picked up this skirt a few weeks ago as at work we had to wear green for the Macmillan Coffee Morning and I wanted something that I could incorporate into my existing wardrobe, as green isn’t a colour you’d find lots of in there. I paired it with this cream high neck ribbed top and a statement necklace. I love this flower power clutch from Primark. To complete the look I wore my peplum textured jacket from Forever 21. I love the ruffles on the bottom of it. So cute and girly.
Hop everyones week has gone well. Look out for my next post which will be on Monday. Quite a bright outfit indeed!
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is as you can see all about tartan. I fell in love with tartan last year and I think its safe to say its slowly creeping back. Yay! As you guys know I write as a weekly contributor for Love Clothing’s blog, as appreciation for the posts I’ve been writing they sent me an item of my choice from the site. I was so overwhelmed by this, as I just love writing about fashion and trends for the blog and never expected anything like this to happen from it. This coat however, is stunning. I love the oversized trend that’s been everywhere at the moment. It’s so 60’s! I loved the monochrome vibe to this coat, as we all know I’ve been loving black grey and white lately. I paired it with my red tartan dress from Primark, as I love how the bright red and monochrome bounce off each other. I kept my shoes simple with some chunky heels from New Look.
Hope you are having a good week so far! It’s the final of Great British Bake Off tonight! I want Richard to win! But who knows what will happen! I have another look with this beaut coat coming soon, its more casual! So keep an eye out for that. Also I’m going on holiday next week so will be scheduling posts for when I’m away! Expect some beauty posts which I haven’t done in ages!
Hey Lovelies, I LOVE this pastel horse design body from Primark, well it’s actually a swimming costume but it’s just a tad too revealing as a costume for me. I am going to be wearing it with everything high-waisted. I love the casual look with the Mom Jeans. Which are my go to jeans, they are just so comfy. I tied this look together with my pink jellies, they are just so summery. I really don’t want summer to go just yet with all this nice weather reappearing. This textured jacket from Matalan is really comfy and such a light layer to add to this outfit.
Hope your week is going well! We are half way through! Can I get woop woop!! I picked up the new Maroon 5 album today so I’m probe gonna spent my evening listening to it on repeat. And watch Great British Bake Off!! Oo the drama!!
Hey Lovelies, I think this has to be my favourite outfit that I’ve EVER shown you guys. I know right! It’s amazing how an outfit can make you feel so confident. I have two amazing Topshop sale finds within this outfit too which is an added bonus. The top was originally £36 but in the sale was £10!!!!!!! The trousers too were a really great find. I am normally rubbish when it comes to browsing through the Topshop sale, but I think it was because I popped into Norwich after work and it was pretty quiet, that I was able to just meander through the rails and leisurely look at the clothes, not being worried someone else will snap it up first. The trousers are from In Love with Fashion were originally £38 but also in the sale for £10. They have a really unique pleat/fold in the fabric to create a gathered effect to them at the top. These slightly cleated heels are such a great purchase from New Look. I went in looking for some boots which I later found are only available online. So to drown my sorrows of not finding my dream boots, I made another cheeky purchase.
I’ve never been one to ‘power dress’ but this outfit makes me feel like a #girlboss, I could be going to a meeting, catching up with friends or going on a date. It really does make me feel fab and confident! Silly right!
It’s almost the middle of the week and one step closer to the weekend! Yay! I am going to the launch of the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Collection (well, launch in Norwich anyway) on Saturday, where I will be getting a look at the range! Exciting!! I was thinking of maybe wearing these trousers with a slogan tee, for a day look. What do you guys think? I’d love to know your thoughts on this outfit too in the comments :)
Shirt, H&M | Dress, Topshop | Leggings, Primark | Shoes(Trainers), Blonde + Blonde at BANKFashion | Coat, H! by Henry Holland at Debenhams
Another outfit post for you today, as well as a new STYLED post which will be up later on. While dreamily looking at the many stunning street style snaps from LFW, I’ve fallen in love with the white trend. So many all white outfits and chunky white shoes! Ergh! Amazing! I thought I’d try incorporating some white items into my look today. My jewel embellished collared shirt from H&M was an absolute bargain at £12.99 (I did get this quite a while ago now), its perfect for putting on under jumpers and dresses. My Blonde + Blonde trainers are so cute! I love the sharp contrast between the black leggings. Again I’m falling for the sport luxe look, like my last STYLED post from Glamourous, which had a sporty vibe to it.
I hope you like my attempt at embracing the white trend, I’m gonna search through my wardrobe and look for some other times that i can maybe wear for my visit to London at the weekend.
Oh and I’ve posted my first look over on LOOKBOOK, it’s from last week, but I’m slowly adding all the outfits I’ve taken with my new camera, I might add my earlier ones too but I can only upload a new photo every 6 hours so it could take a while. So for now its just the shiny new ones! :) The link is down below if you wanna head over there and ‘fan’ me!
So a little while ago I brought myself the most amazing Jumpsuit from ASOS, a proper sale bargain, £13! I fell in love with it when it arrived. The material is so soft and the purple floral pattern is absolutely gorgeous. I thought I’d show 2 ways in which I would wear it. There are so many different ways to wear a jumpsuit, but I thought I’d show two completely different looks!
Jacket, Topshop | Boots, Dr Martens | Jumper, H&M | Tassel Bag, Republic
I often like to add more ‘grungy’ elements to my style. And with the delicate floral design this jumpsuit can easily be uber girly. I decided to put a baggy jumper over the top for a more causal look. My go to leather jacket here again. I tucked the trousers into my Doc’s for a more laid back look.
2. OUT FOR DRINKS
Jacket as before | Crop Polo Top, H&M | Heels, Topshop | Pony Earrings, Topshop
To the complete opposite of the grunge look, by adding this bright crop underneath makes this outfit proper girly. I’ve been trying to find a reason to dig out these beaut open toed heels from Topshop! They add a sense of elegance to this outfit and also more height! Which is never a bad thing for a kinda shorty like me.
