Hey Lovelies, another day another fab New Look mini skirt. Very mod and very 60’s! I think mini skirts are going to be another A/W staple for me. They go with pretty much anything and can be worn with chunky knits and tights. I picked up this skirt a few weeks ago as at work we had to wear green for the Macmillan Coffee Morning and I wanted something that I could incorporate into my existing wardrobe, as green isn’t a colour you’d find lots of in there. I paired it with this cream high neck ribbed top and a statement necklace. I love this flower power clutch from Primark. To complete the look I wore my peplum textured jacket from Forever 21. I love the ruffles on the bottom of it. So cute and girly.
Hop everyones week has gone well. Look out for my next post which will be on Monday. Quite a bright outfit indeed!
Hey Lovelies, it’s my birthday today!! Yay!! 25! O-M-G!!! I’ve picked out a rather special outfit for today (look out on my Instagram for a sneaky look) but that won’t be on here till after I’m back from my holiday! Today is all about this blue retro mini shirt from New Look. It is so freakin’ cute! I layered this look with all black, a simple tee and a long sleeveless cardigan that I synched at the waist with my buckle style belt from ASOS.
I have a new love for these adorable shoes from Schuh, they are so unique with the cut out triangles on the top, yet the style is really girly.
I think this proves that I am a sucker for anything and everything River Island create! If I could by everything from there I would. Starting with this pinktastic co-ord look that I have styled.
I’ve always been a lover of pink, and the piece that inspired this outfit was the flatworm sandals! I posted them over on my Instagram after falling in love with them while browsing for… well I wasn’t browsing for anything really, just having a look and feeling sad that I haven’t won the lottery so I can buy it all! Hehe!
The weather has suddenly brightened up, be it still a little chilly! I would totally brave the breeze to wear this outfit in a heartbeat. The expressionist style flowers on the jack and skirt really don’t need to much added to complete the look. Which is why I chose this adorable white crop (I own this and it goes with everything) to go with it, showing a little midriff is pretty standard these days, any excuse to make you do those sit ups for a reasonably flat tum!
The shoes though! I don’t really know how to put into words how amazing they look! Fingers crossed they are still available come next pay-day as I will defiantly be purchasing those beauties!
I’ve been obsessing over round sunglasses lately, there is just something ‘cool’ about them, these simple black framed ones are a classic take on the trend.
I hope you like how I have styled this outfit, would you have added even more prints to the look? Maybe have more accessories? Let me know in the comments!
