Hey Lovelies, another day another fab New Look mini skirt. Very mod and very 60’s! I think mini skirts are going to be another A/W staple for me. They go with pretty much anything and can be worn with chunky knits and tights. I picked up this skirt a few weeks ago as at work we had to wear green for the Macmillan Coffee Morning and I wanted something that I could incorporate into my existing wardrobe, as green isn’t a colour you’d find lots of in there. I paired it with this cream high neck ribbed top and a statement necklace. I love this flower power clutch from Primark. To complete the look I wore my peplum textured jacket from Forever 21. I love the ruffles on the bottom of it. So cute and girly.
Hop everyones week has gone well. Look out for my next post which will be on Monday. Quite a bright outfit indeed!
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is as you can see all about tartan. I fell in love with tartan last year and I think its safe to say its slowly creeping back. Yay! As you guys know I write as a weekly contributor for Love Clothing’s blog, as appreciation for the posts I’ve been writing they sent me an item of my choice from the site. I was so overwhelmed by this, as I just love writing about fashion and trends for the blog and never expected anything like this to happen from it. This coat however, is stunning. I love the oversized trend that’s been everywhere at the moment. It’s so 60’s! I loved the monochrome vibe to this coat, as we all know I’ve been loving black grey and white lately. I paired it with my red tartan dress from Primark, as I love how the bright red and monochrome bounce off each other. I kept my shoes simple with some chunky heels from New Look.
Hope you are having a good week so far! It’s the final of Great British Bake Off tonight! I want Richard to win! But who knows what will happen! I have another look with this beaut coat coming soon, its more casual! So keep an eye out for that. Also I’m going on holiday next week so will be scheduling posts for when I’m away! Expect some beauty posts which I haven’t done in ages!
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is all about the shirt! Sometimes its just about throwing on a baggy shirt and some skinny jeans. This is the shirt that encompasses that. H&M are so on point at the moment, so I’ve been spending a lot of time and money in there to help revamp my wardrobe. A rare new purchase that isn’t black/ white or grey. I love that this shirt can be worn in different ways, I’m thinking that it will look great tied around my waist over a skirt for a laid back vibe. I didn’t want to layer up too many accessories/ jewellery so I went for a couple of rings and a chunky necklace which is from Miss Selfridge! Again my New Look boots make an appearance. I do really need to get another pair or heeled boots for some variety!
Anyway, hope you are all having a good week! We made it to Wednesday, which for some will mean watching Great British Bake Off!! Ooo the drama!!
Hey Lovelies. See, I told you my wardrobe was having a colour wash out! Not saying all my outfits will be so black and grey but I’m definitely gonna be inserting some more muted tones into my outfits from now on. Moving on to today’s outfit. I really love this dishevelled grey tank, the material is so soft too. It creates great layers within the outfit, with the fluffy jacket over the top for even more textures and lengths. I always find I look just a little bit cooler in my ripped jeans, I do need to get a proper pair, and not just my poorly done DIY ones, but for now they kinda work and of course my Docs are back :) Yay! My A/W footwear staple! :)
Hey lovelies, another outfit featuring some beaut H&M finds. Not sale finds, just my Mum and I walking around liking everything! Whoops! This dress is such a great A/W staple, because it has that really cool uneven cut. To wear with or without tights it can be styled up for whether is chilling or really cold! It has such a grunge vibe to it with its grainy washed out grey colouring. It has a thin ribbon tie at the waist to add some shape, but it also looks nice without it. Black + grey I find always go so well with gold accessories. I love this necklace from Topshop, I got it quite a while ago now but it’s just one of those pieces you need to be careful what you style it with as its such a statement. For when its a little colder this will look heat with a chunky black jumper or even a bright blue jumper but for now I paired it with my sleeveless faux leather Jacket from Forever 21. My old favourites make an appearance again, my New Look heeled boots, I really need to get a few other heeled boots to add to my collection, they do really go with everything.
Are you guys liking me posting outfits everyday? Don’t know whether it’s too much? I like it but thought I would ask you guys, so let me know in the comments below!
Hey Lovelies, how are we all doing? I’ve just had a rather chilled 3 days off. But back to work now, so I thought I’d start the week off with a casual outfit. Something I would wear to be more practical. I know this turtle neck is only subtle but wow it just makes me feel all 60’s for some reason! It probably doesn’t look it but that’s how I feel. This top is great for either OTT jewellery or like I have done here a cute simple necklace. I love an initial jewellery. I am toning down my wardrobe for the A/W so this is the beginning of lots of muted outfits. I can’t wait! I went out and purchased loads of grey staples from H&M the other day, which I will be showing you throughout the week.
This duster coat is still oh so cool. I really love the floaty material. To complete this outfit I found my grey Primark jeans (comfiest jeans EVER) and my chunky Fenchurch sliders from Bank!
Have you de summer-fied you’re wardrobe yet? What are your A/W staples?
Hey Lovelies, this outfit is all bout the tee. It made me giggle as soon as I saw it. I have to admit I don’t really shop in Zara that much, but with some other giggle worthy slogan tees I might just be shopping there more often. I opted for a more monochrome styling for this outfit. Wearing my slightly baggy faux leather trousers from New Look, I really do need to invest in some wet look leggings, as they would sit a lot better on me. I also threw on this H&M sleeveless cardigan, it’s quite lightweight and perfect for layering. My monochrome Primark camera bag finishes off the look (it doesn’t have my camera in at the moment, just using as a mini bag).
This outfit would be perfect for going for lunch with my bestie or perhaps going out to a gig, its got layers and is a classic monochrome colour scheme, so will not stand out too much.
