Hey Lovelies, it’s my birthday today!! Yay!! 25! O-M-G!!! I’ve picked out a rather special outfit for today (look out on my Instagram for a sneaky look) but that won’t be on here till after I’m back from my holiday! Today is all about this blue retro mini shirt from New Look. It is so freakin’ cute! I layered this look with all black, a simple tee and a long sleeveless cardigan that I synched at the waist with my buckle style belt from ASOS.
I have a new love for these adorable shoes from Schuh, they are so unique with the cut out triangles on the top, yet the style is really girly.
Hey Lovelies, quite a causal look today. This Love Clothing Coat is so versatile, its so snuggly warm and goes perfectly with some cosy knitwear. This black and orange knit from H&M pops from underneath the oversized coat. I kept the look simple with some blue jeans from Primark, my fave jeans from there. They fit perfectly and don’t look the tightness. Another outing for my new shoes from Topshop, aren’t they the prettiest?! I dug out this back pack from Accessorize as its so big it can hold lots of my rubbish in it, as all my bags have the key things in plus every lipstick I own and a thousand receipts!! And as you can see, this outfit (and the rest this week) as pre hair cut! I will be snapping my holiday looks most probably as this post goes out! :)
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is as you can see all about tartan. I fell in love with tartan last year and I think its safe to say its slowly creeping back. Yay! As you guys know I write as a weekly contributor for Love Clothing’s blog, as appreciation for the posts I’ve been writing they sent me an item of my choice from the site. I was so overwhelmed by this, as I just love writing about fashion and trends for the blog and never expected anything like this to happen from it. This coat however, is stunning. I love the oversized trend that’s been everywhere at the moment. It’s so 60’s! I loved the monochrome vibe to this coat, as we all know I’ve been loving black grey and white lately. I paired it with my red tartan dress from Primark, as I love how the bright red and monochrome bounce off each other. I kept my shoes simple with some chunky heels from New Look.
Hope you are having a good week so far! It’s the final of Great British Bake Off tonight! I want Richard to win! But who knows what will happen! I have another look with this beaut coat coming soon, its more casual! So keep an eye out for that. Also I’m going on holiday next week so will be scheduling posts for when I’m away! Expect some beauty posts which I haven’t done in ages!
Hey Lovelies, I was recently emailed by Lalage from FuguPR about the amazing A/W collections from Dr Martens, I love my Dr Martens, I wore then in until I could barley walk! Up I was that determined to have those iconic boots on my feet! Epic shin pain!!! I also have the largest Dr Martens store in Norwich right near me! How cool is that! I always like to pop into the Norwich store to have a look at my future White Dr Martens Boots, I will one day own a pair :) to go with my Patent Black ones that I wear quite a bit, especially in the colder months. What’s really oil is that they also do clothing, be it a little on the pricey side for my pocket. But still really fab clothes. If ever I win the lottery I will purchase a few pieces, but for now I can only stare. So join me in having a nosey at some of their A/W collections.
Within the email I received there were 2 Look books which are virtual and really cool! Check out my Instagram for some video snippets. And a video of the collection which can be found >here<. #STANDFORSOMETHING
Lots of dark hues and tartan esq. pieces. I really like the tattoo print dress from the women’s collection and the tartan panel shirt from the mens. Gotta love the edgy vibes that I always think of when seeing anything Dr Martens.
*FUN FACT, 2 of the women in the collection video are from Norwich! Oo yeah! Norwich represent!!!

And…. if like me you live in/near Norwich you can always go along to the Dr Martens Store and pick up/order some of these beaut pieces, at 23-25 Castle Street, NR21PN :)
Oversized Coat, BANKfashion | Shirt, ASOS | Mom Jeans, Topshop | Boots, New Look
Another outfit post for you today, this shirt from ASOS is so freakin cute! The pop coloured tartan type pattern is so fun and the collar just adds to the cuteness, basically collar=cuteness! Because my memory is so bad I can’t remember how much it was but I do know it was in the sales in February so a pretty new purchase. The sleeves are ‘winged’ when I first wore it I was swooping around waving my arms, not my most fashionable moment, but it was still lots of fun.
I’ve never really clashed prints like this before, but I thought why the hell not! This oversized coat is actually quite think so with this shirt didn’t need a cardigan, I thought the contrast between the bright orange/yellows of the shirt would work well with the black and white. As always I love a good bargain, the coat was only £20, then when I got to the till it was only£15! I was still umping and arring about whether to get it but being only £15 I couldn’t really say no!
I’d paired this shirt with my mom jeans before and I liked the casual look to the outfit, being high-waisted the shirt just about reaches the top of the jeans, sneaky bare midriff never hurt anyone!
My boots are just some simple black heeled ones from New Look, they have some sparkly studs on the side just for a little more ‘bling’.
I really hope you like how I have styled this look, a little out of my comfort zone with the clashing of prints but I think it’s the beginning of a beautiful clashing friendship!!!
Like always let me know what you think in the comments, love hearing back from you guys :)
Coat, River Island | Black Strap Bodysuit, H&M | Skirt, Topshop | Boots, New Look
Another outfit post for you today, I wanted to keep the look simple due to the amazing check print of the skirt. Which was a bargain! Another one of my sale finds £10 down from £25. The skirt is a wrap around with 2 button fastenings. I love the plastic/shiny belt line, the pink and grey go perfectly together. I thought I’d go all out with the check theme and wear my check tights.
My boots are a just a simple heeled boot with some sparkle studs for a bit of bling. I braved the weather and even went without my staple winter coat for a few of the shots. Yep it was freezing.
The weather today has been absolutely awful. Which means I’m pinning all my hopes on tomorrow being rain free so I can get outside and get some more outfits done. I have however been watching some of the LFW shows online, so I will be posting a round-up of my fave looks during the week.
Everywhere is embracing the next season SPRING! I even tried on a gorgeous floral look in Primark on Saturday (I posted a dressing room selfie on my Instagram). But when I look outside its cold and raining. Not quite time to let go of those wintery outfits.
Biker Jacket £39.99 | Tartan Leggings £12.99 | Platform Boots £27.99 | Bowler Hat £9.99 | Tee £14.99
This look is definitely for the ‘biker chick’. I follow Internaçionale on Instagram and they are always posting fab finds, so I thought it was about time I properly explored their website and create a look.
Firstly I love BOWLER HATS!!! Such a quick way to add instant cuteness to any outfit. They fit every season which is perfect if you need to hide any dodgy hair! I know I like to do this sometimes! The red ‘wine’ shade is perfect for this time of year, I thought by injecting colour into the outfit would make it less one-dimensional, and even though I am a lover of all ‘black’ outfits I wanted to style something a bit different for me. The fitted tee is again that gorgeous red wine shade.
Tartan is still such an amazing trend that I don’t think is going anywhere anytime soon. These white and black leggings are super cute, perfect for lounging around the house with a baggy jumper or for when you want to be seen in the world!
As I have mentioned before I am a sucker for chunky shoes/boots! These platform boots are to die for. Being of average height I find walking in platforms a lot easier. And to be honest who wouldn’t want another pair of boots! I love the elegant gold buckle and elasticated side, adding a more classic spin to the ‘chunky’ boot.
Last but not least to finish off this biker chick/ grunge look the good old leather jacket. I think it’s always good to have a leather jacket in your wardrobe just in case you need it. This one is a really good price too. With the zip detailing its a timeless piece.
As for make up and hair to complete this look, I think a smokey eye and a glossy lip would be perfect. As for the hair, loose waves would look effortless (as if you haven’t really tried but have really spent FOREVER getting those curls to actually curl)!
I don’t think I’ve spent enough time looking in Internaçionale, I’m really glad I took the time to explore. I really love this outfit, those boots might even make it on my next wish list!
I hope you have liked this STYLED, and as always you can find me on Twitter, Instagram + Bloglovin >>
