Hey Lovelies, I’m backkk!!! To gently get back into blogging after being away in the beautiful Tenerife (gathering all my photos for a post that will be on here soon) :) I thought I would indulge in a little wish list/style up post, there are quite a few picks today! I thought it would be wrong to let this dark and spooky time of year slip on by! HALLOWEEN! I haven’t got plans this year, like most years I’ll probably be in, wrapped up on the sofa watching a non scary film (I’m a scaredy cat) in my giraffe onesie. But that doesn’t mean I can’t drool over the gorgeous Halloween inspired pieces that are all about at the moment. Which by the way can easily be styled for Christmas/AW too :) Win win!
ASOS Little Mistress Navy Sweetheart Dress
I love the sweetheart neckline on this dress, also the navy colour is not something you would usually see on Halloween. Pair with some black accessories for a modern take on the Halloween night out outfit.
ASOS Pointed Bow Heels
Bows. Is there really much else to say about these shoes. Okay, so yes there is a bit more to say, how freaking cute are these. Taking a classic shoe and adding a simple black bow at the ankle! Genius!
ASOS Green Beaded Clutch
I really like this emerald-green beaded clutch, pair this with a simple all black outfit as a stand out piece.
TOPSHOP Sequin Panel Pleated Dress
Now, this Topshop dress has been on my wish list for ages, well, the wish list in my head that is! It’s stunning I love the different textures and lengths, this could be a possibility for a work Xmas meal outfit at this rate! I LOVE IT!
ASOS Halloween Embellished Choker Necklace
Talk about gothic chic. This is an extremely beautiful and intricate piece of jewellery, reminds me of the costumes in Underworld! Sophia Myles wore some stunning pieces.
TOPSHOP Webbed Tights
Something a little fun! I am always on the look out for quirky tights to wear to work to snazzy up the uniform, these web tights are perfect for Halloween!
TOPSHOP Red Plunge Jumpsuit
I don’t usually gravitate towards red, but this jumpsuit is so elegant and definitely means business, I’d layer this with a mess top underneath and some black high heels for a vampy evening look.
ASOS Halloween Gothic Rose and Lace Headband
This headband is AMAZING! Gothic vibes all around. This really is a ‘wish’ piece as I wouldn’t know where to start with styling it on myself! Definitely something to look into in the future.
TOPSHOP Halloween Scrunchie
Another fun item from Topshop, I love scrunchies and this Halloween themed one is too cute. Especially when you have to wear your hair up for work this is a nice and simple way to incorporate some of the Halloween spirit into your everyday look.
NEW LOOK Mesh Baroque Tee
This tee is fab for layering, using under a dress or jumpsuit or over a bright crop will revamp any piece of clothing in your wardrobe with a gothic twist.
NEW LOOK Black Lace Sleeve Crop
I LOVE this black lace sleeved crop, I can easily see Wednesday Addams wearing this. This would go really nice with a burgundy miniskirt and Docs.
NEW LOOK Pure Colour Burgundy Lipstick
I can’t wait to go into my local New Look and pick up some of their new beauty range. This deep burgundy red is perfect for A/W and for creating sultry vampy make up to complement a gothic look. It would also look great with very natural make up for a stamens pop of colour.
NEW LOOK Black Faux Fur Trim Heels
These fluffy heels are everywhere, I know lots of other places do them, but New Look are my fave high street store for shoes! They are adorable, with fluff adds a cuteness to them and ultra girly vibes. With pay-day looming they might be making a new home for themselves with me very soon.
I hope you like my Halloween inspired picks, if you like them they are all linked above :) Feels good to be blogging again, I am currently settling back into things. I know I was only gone for round about 2 weeks, but you can’t rush things when coming back otherwise it would feel like a waste of a really lovely holiday and time away. And I am in no rush to let go of the holiday vibes! :)
Hey Lovelies, quite a fun causal look today. I am obsessed with layering at the moment, and this white shirt bright top combo is a must have look! I’m not really one thats goes for lots of colour but this outfit is pretty pop tastic! I think the trousers from New Look made this outfit go from bland to amazing! And… they go perfectly with my Nike Trainers. I got these a few years ago from Office, and I must admit that I don’t wear them that often, I really should! They are really comfy.
What do you think of this outfit? I hope you like it! It would be lovely if you could leave a lil comment if you do, will be something nice to see when I come back from my holiday! Which will be tomorrow! (Which is weird to say as I’m writing this I haven’t even left!)
Hey Lovelies, quite a causal look today. This Love Clothing Coat is so versatile, its so snuggly warm and goes perfectly with some cosy knitwear. This black and orange knit from H&M pops from underneath the oversized coat. I kept the look simple with some blue jeans from Primark, my fave jeans from there. They fit perfectly and don’t look the tightness. Another outing for my new shoes from Topshop, aren’t they the prettiest?! I dug out this back pack from Accessorize as its so big it can hold lots of my rubbish in it, as all my bags have the key things in plus every lipstick I own and a thousand receipts!! And as you can see, this outfit (and the rest this week) as pre hair cut! I will be snapping my holiday looks most probably as this post goes out! :)
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is as you can see all about tartan. I fell in love with tartan last year and I think its safe to say its slowly creeping back. Yay! As you guys know I write as a weekly contributor for Love Clothing’s blog, as appreciation for the posts I’ve been writing they sent me an item of my choice from the site. I was so overwhelmed by this, as I just love writing about fashion and trends for the blog and never expected anything like this to happen from it. This coat however, is stunning. I love the oversized trend that’s been everywhere at the moment. It’s so 60’s! I loved the monochrome vibe to this coat, as we all know I’ve been loving black grey and white lately. I paired it with my red tartan dress from Primark, as I love how the bright red and monochrome bounce off each other. I kept my shoes simple with some chunky heels from New Look.
Hope you are having a good week so far! It’s the final of Great British Bake Off tonight! I want Richard to win! But who knows what will happen! I have another look with this beaut coat coming soon, its more casual! So keep an eye out for that. Also I’m going on holiday next week so will be scheduling posts for when I’m away! Expect some beauty posts which I haven’t done in ages!
Hey Lovelies! As I mentioned in my last post, I was able to have a style session at the Topshop Norwich Student Event! Being able to walk around the store and with the help of the beaut personal stylist Martha pick out some really fab outfits. Some are very in my comfort zone and some are a little out of the box. Which I LOVE, as fashion is about expression and it’s always great to play around with different styles and trends. I hope you like the different outfits that Martha put together for me! Let me know in the comments which is your favourite :) (I have also linked all the items at the end, just in case you like it so much you wanna buy it! :)).
Look 2: Sports Luxe with a twist
Look 3: Evening Elegance
Look 4: Jumpsuit, Floppy Hat and Tote= Perfection
Look 5: A Kimono tells a thousand stories
I have to say that outfit 4 is my absolute favourite. That In Love With Fashion jumpsuit is so out there and stunning. I didn’t think I could pull it off but I felt amazing in it. Also as I mentioned in my last post, I was kindly about to make use of the 20% discount that all the lucky students were snapping up! I ended up getting the gorgeous patent sling back loafers from look 3! Like I don’t already own about a dozen black shoes/boots, oh well! One more to add to my collection. And with the discount I felt so lucky as for me Topshop shoes are a treat purchase.
Thanks again to Kaiah for inviting me to the event I had such a great time. And thanks again to Martha for styling me in some really amazing outfits, you have added lots of pieces to my ongoing wish list. If you live in Norwich and fancy some style advise, just pop into Topshop and ask to arrange a personal style session, be it you are in need of a wardrobe update, an outfit for a special occasion or just want to find some new threads, they are there to help! :) I couldn’t recommend it more I had a great time.

Look 3: Coat | Dress | Necklace | Watch | Shoes | Boots
Look 4: Leather Jacket | Jumpsuit | Heels | Hat | Bag

Hey Lovelies, I was kindly invited to the Topshop Norwich Student Event last Thursday. I felt like a faux student for the evening (oh how 3 years have gone by so quickly since I could call myself a student). The evening itself comes around once a year! There is an amazing 20% off all purchases. And to make it even more of an event Mantra a local club/bar were also there to provide a party atmosphere with some yummy mocktails and some ‘wicked tunes’ from a live DJ!
When I arrived I was able to have a one on one styling session with the mega babe Martha! This included being taken around the store to each themed section, like the Cocktail Hour, where you can find metallic playsuits, sequin crops and sleek faux fur sleeveless jackets and another which has to be my favourite the Folklore section, with feather print kimonos, floppy hats and palazzo trousers. While we visited each section Martha helped pick out an outfit for me! This to any girl is like a dream come true. Being given free rein in Topshop to style up your dream outfits. As the pile of clothes got heavier we then went to the styling room which is located just off the main changing rooms. I had my own changing room located in a larger room with funky bamboo wallpaper and a huge ceiling to floor mirror. After dumping the massive pile of clothes we strutted off to the shoes! THE SHOES!!! I LOVE Topshop shoes. They are a real treat for me. And did Martha pick some goodun’s. Yes she did. Then began over an hours worth of styling up these outfits and getting some fab snaps to show your guys. (I will be posting each outfit during the week otherwise this post would be very photo heavy). I had the most amazing time, there was no rush to get the outfits tried on, and Martha was very accommodating to my own style tastes when choosing the outfits. After this I had a venture around the store to get some snaps of the other things happening. I stumbled upon makeovers involving Topshop’s new range THE FACE. A gorgeous set of beauty products which are for a more natural look. I wasn’t able to blah any samples but I did get a booklet which details each product. Martha also told me that the people behind Mac Cosmetics have a hand in the making of them, so you know they are gonna be good.
I had the most amazing time, I was even allowed to use the 20% discount, which I thought was really sweet of them (thanks Kaiah) so I got a gorgeous pair of shoes :) They have already cropped up on my Instagram! Thanks again to Martha too for picking some fab outfits, and for picking the gorgeous shoes I ended up buying! I LOVE THEM! So if you live in Norwich and need some outfit inspo or just advise on maybe updating your wardrobe ask to have a style session with Martha or any of the other girls there, you will be so pleased with the time they take to find things that you may miss and end up falling for. Also if you are a student remember to keep a look our for future discount days (more than the 10% already) and for next years Student Event. You can follow Topshop Norwich on Instagram >here< for any amazing hidden gems they find and also like always you can follow me too for any finds that I make. As you guys know I do love a Topshop find be it full price or in the sale!
Hey Lovelies, today’s look is all about the shirt! Sometimes its just about throwing on a baggy shirt and some skinny jeans. This is the shirt that encompasses that. H&M are so on point at the moment, so I’ve been spending a lot of time and money in there to help revamp my wardrobe. A rare new purchase that isn’t black/ white or grey. I love that this shirt can be worn in different ways, I’m thinking that it will look great tied around my waist over a skirt for a laid back vibe. I didn’t want to layer up too many accessories/ jewellery so I went for a couple of rings and a chunky necklace which is from Miss Selfridge! Again my New Look boots make an appearance. I do really need to get another pair or heeled boots for some variety!
Anyway, hope you are all having a good week! We made it to Wednesday, which for some will mean watching Great British Bake Off!! Ooo the drama!!
